Vanta is thrilled to be expanding its C-suite with two new hires: Meg Goetsch as VP of Operations and Finance, who hails from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Nicole Zuuring as VP of Marketing, who is joining from UiPath. With Meg and Nicole on board, we’ve hit a milestone few tech companies ever achieve: Women now make up two-thirds of Vanta’s leadership team.
Meg brings 15 years of experience scaling high-growth businesses, most recently serving as an Operations Leader in AWS’s Business Development and Strategic Industries group. At Vanta, she’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth and customer acquisition. Meg is based in New York, where she advises startup founders as a member of Primary VC’s Primary Expert Network.
Nicole comes to us from UiPath, where she operated at the nexus of Sales and Marketing as VP of Customer and Partner Experience. Previously she spearheaded marketing and operations at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins and led outbound marketing at Dropbox. Nicole started her career at Salesforce, where she rose through the marketing ranks over nearly a decade.
Meg and Nicole started last month and will be integral to supporting Vanta’s rapid growth. We’re on a roll hiring top-flight talent across the board, including in our executive ranks. Vanta also recently welcomed Stevie Case as our first Chief Revenue Officer.
Women in tech hold less than 28% of the leadership positions, despite clear and growing evidence that diverse teams contribute to better financial outcomes.
According to a McKinsey study, "Women leaders are up to twice as likely to spend substantial time on DEI work that falls outside their formal job responsibilities." Earlier this year Vanta announced a partnership with Breakline, which helps diverse job candidates get education and training to move into careers in the tech sector.
