Manager, Customer Support

In this critical role, you will have significant impact on Vanta’s trajectory as an early leadership hire on the Customer Support team. You will...

  • Build and evolve processes and systems to scale Vanta’s customer experience while maintaining an exceptional level of service 
  • Lead and support the growing team of Customer Support Agents and Engineers 
  • Launch new initiatives and contribute to quarterly goal setting 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to maintain an inclusive organization, representing Vanta’s culture and values

You might...

  • Have 2+ years of experience building and leading a Customer Support organization with notable influence on and implementation of process, systems, strategies and scale  
  • Have experience managing teams through times of high-growth, acting as a trusted leader and confident mentor
  • Have been deeply involved in building a multi-tier support team from scratch with demonstrated ability to hire, recruit, and train top talent
  • Have prior experience managing complex, long-term projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Think big and have a deep appreciation for leadership, technology and problem solving

About us

We started by building the simplest way for a company to prepare for a SOC 2 assessment.

We started with SOC 2 because it was the most common way for an internet business to prove its security. In the course of building for SOC 2, we built out a suite of security tools that every internet business needs: laptop management, account monitoring, employee onboarding and offboarding, cloud infrastructure configuration, policy documentation, and more.

Over time, we’ll add additional certifications (HIPAA, ISO27001) and partner with industry experts to bolster the ways a business’ security is proved. We’re just getting started.

Our goal is to demystify internet security to the average person, equipping beginners with sane defaults and growing them into security-savvy principals who can explain how their company protects customer data and why their business is worthy of your trust.
