Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to work closely with our Legal Counsel.

The role

Manage incoming requests for legal review and miscellaneous legal questions and maintain action item lists to ensure timely responses;
Support legal department with meeting preparation and presentations, communication and document drafting, signature requests and calendar management;
Maintain legal entity state registrations;
Request up-to-date corporate or legal documentation;
Evaluate the needs for and direct all aspects of corporate qualifications and registrations;
Coordinate with finance, tax and accounting departments as needed;
Engage, direct and oversee work of corporate agents and vendors;
Assist in the management of contracts; coordinate with departments to track and manage deadlines and renewals;
Perform audits of contract effectiveness; assist in the development and maintenance of templates;
Assist with the management of stockholder issues, including equity issuance and corporate governance;
Assist with the filings of insurance claims and management of insurance policies; and
Complete other tasks at direction of Associate General Counsel.

Have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and a strong academic background;
Have 4+ years experience as a Paralegal in either a law firm or in-house at a company in the SaaS industry;
Have exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills;
Have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Drive, DocuSign, and legal tools;
Have experience with corporate governance, contracts, compliance and other related matters; and
Have a notary certification.
