People Ops Coordinator

Vanta has been growing exponentially in the past year and we’re now expanding our People team. We’re looking for a People Ops Coordinator to drive our People processes. You will play a critical role on our People Ops team in ensuring our People growth is supported by scaling HR systems and operations with minimal impact to both the systems and the business. You will have the opportunity to iterate on existing People processes and translate business needs to scalable and repeatable solutions.

The role

You will...

  • Support and coordinate onboarding processes from cosigning I-9’S to inputting new hires into our HRIS
  • Own data integrity in our HRIS and organize and maintain employee records with the utmost confidentiality
  • Work cross functionally to ensure any employment changes are approved by necessary partners and update changes in our HRIS accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Execute and support audits of People Ops records
  • Coordinate and administer immigration process by coordinating between managers, employees, and external immigration counsel
  • Identify workflow blockers and Iterate on existing People processes to make them the best they can be

You might...

  • Have previous experience in HR at a high growth start up
  • Have experience in HRIS systems (experience with BambooHR a huge plus)
  • Have excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Be able to leverage the tools at hand to drive your workflow
  • Thrive under pressure and a willingness to roll with the punches
  • Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
  • Have working knowledge of G-Suite (for calendar, email, and docs), Slack, and Zoom.

About us

We started by building the simplest way for a company to prepare for a SOC 2 assessment.

We started with SOC 2 because it was the most common way for an internet business to prove its security. In the course of building for SOC 2, we built out a suite of security tools that every internet business needs: laptop management, account monitoring, employee onboarding and offboarding, cloud infrastructure configuration, policy documentation, and more.

Over time, we’ll add additional certifications (HIPAA, ISO27001) and partner with industry experts to bolster the ways a business’ security is proved. We’re just getting started.

Our goal is to demystify internet security to the average person, equipping beginners with sane defaults and growing them into security-savvy principals who can explain how their company protects customer data and why their business is worthy of your trust.
