Manager, Customer Success Team

As a Manager, Customer Success at Vanta you’ll be an instrumental player to our growth as we build upon the success we’ve had in guiding over 1,000+ B2B customers on their compliance journeys.  We will trust you to own customer relationships, ensure customer adoption delivers measurable results and contribute to our customer-centric culture. You’ll be leading a team of Customer Success Managers, overseeing an overall book of business > $4MM in revenue.

The role

You will...

  • Hire, coach, and develop a team of Customer Success Managers
  • Build a creative and innovative culture, and a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Partner with other CS leaders to further refine structure, process, systems, and resources to successfully support our SMB customers at scale
  • Design and implement process improvements, customer journey playbooks and automated programs to deliver deeper value to customers at scale.
  • Own your team's metrics and drive the plan to attain and exceed them
  • Adoption, retention, expansion, etc
  • Work closely with internal teams (Support, Marketing, Sales, Product) to align priorities, collaborate on customer needs and opportunities, and deliver early and increasing value over time

You might...

  • Have 2+ years of relevant work experience in building and managing high performing CSM teams in B2B SaaS companies
  • Have demonstrated ability leading a customer facing team — strong people management, coaching and development experience
  • Have experience owning and managing quarterly team metrics including renewals and upsell
  • Have previous experience selling into or driving strategy, ROI, and value conversations with stakeholders
  • Have a high level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders work and think
  • Be passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Be a strong team player, a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
  • Be a self-driven, high energy leader with excellent cross functional collaboration skills
  • Be someone who flourishes when given responsibility and a sense of ownership
  • Have experience with Salesforce

About us

We started by building the simplest way for a company to prepare for a SOC 2 assessment.

We started with SOC 2 because it was the most common way for an internet business to prove its security. In the course of building for SOC 2, we built out a suite of security tools that every internet business needs: laptop management, account monitoring, employee onboarding and offboarding, cloud infrastructure configuration, policy documentation, and more.

Over time, we’ll add additional certifications (HIPAA, ISO27001) and partner with industry experts to bolster the ways a business’ security is proved. We’re just getting started.

Our goal is to demystify internet security to the average person, equipping beginners with sane defaults and growing them into security-savvy principals who can explain how their company protects customer data and why their business is worthy of your trust.
