Typography

Our brand typeface helps us communicate our message to our audience—it's important to use it thoughtfully and consistently.

Typefaces

Our serif typeface, Nib, is a modern take on a traditional serif font that uses both soft and sharp lines to create contrast and intrigue.

We pair Nib with our sans serif typeface, Atak.

Here are the recommended type pairings for Atak and Nib. They're designed to uphold legibility and create a harmonizing contrast between our typefaces.

Typesetting

Our text should feel confident and considered. We use Nib for expressive moments and headers, and Atak for more functional purposes and body copy.

Stylizing typography

Our typography should always feel clear and concise. For large-scale text, we can combine our typefaces and use color for emphasis.

Alternatives for Google Slides

There may be times when we're unable to use our brand typefaces. When that’s the case, Domine (serif) and Helvetica (sans serif) are our substitute open source fonts.

Do not use our secondary colors for background and typography.

As a rule of thumb, we generally don’t italicize headlines.
