Understand what frameworks to pursue next with frameworks explorer
As you mature your security and compliance program, one evergreen question you will need to answer is which framework to adopt next. Given the rapidly-evolving nature of regulations and industry standards, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up to date on the latest frameworks, how they differ, and which make sense for you.
Now, Vanta helps you quickly explore and get up to speed on the 35+ supported frameworks. From the frameworks page you can now not only work on active frameworks, but also explore additional frameworks to understand what they are, for what geographies and industries they are relevant, and how they are typically implemented.

You can see the new framework explorer experience here.
Scale cross-functional collaboration with ease, through team-based ownership
There are many cross-functional departments that security and compliance teams regularly collaborate with—engineering for remediation, legal for document and policy approval, HR for employee onboarding and offboarding, and more. As organizations grow, this cross-functional collaboration becomes burdensome to manage with growing teams, program complexity, and disparate communication tools.
Now in Vanta, you can create Teams to represent the departments you regularly collaborate with, and assign Teams as owners of tests and documents, removing bottlenecks and enabling continuous ownership. Team admins can directly manage team members, and define team-specific notification settings—with support for email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams—ensuring that team members are notified of action items according to their preferences. Team members can view all of their assigned action items from their Teams overview page, driving focus while working in Vanta.

Team-based ownership on tests and documents is available now for Vanta customers on the Growth plan and above.
Unlock deep infrastructure visibility with the Code Changes view
Tracking infrastructure code changes is a critical aspect of any security and compliance program, but historically, gaining visibility into this data source has been challenging, especially for teams outside of engineering. Now, with the updated Code Changes page in Vanta, security and compliance teams can easily access this information.
Connecting your version control system (such as GitHub, Gitlab, etc.) into Vanta powers the Code Changes page, centralizing merged pull requests in one view. This experience allows you to easily identify code changes that are out of compliance, with detailed drill-downs on the author and approver, streamlining remediation efforts. You can easily track exceptions for non-compliant code changes with notes and timestamps, simplifying the process with your auditor.

This updated Code Changes experience is available now for Vanta customers on the Growth package and above.
Categorize your knowledge base with custom tags
Each buyer is unique—and so are their questions about your security program. It’s difficult to keep up with an influx of questions that require custom responses, especially for global organizations that sell many different products across geographies and industries.
Now, Vanta customers can create custom tags for their knowledge base to organize resources and questionnaire responses by product, region, segment size, and more to deliver custom security documentation at scale. Your internal teams can also automate questionnaires with responses based on specific tags, drastically reducing the time spent on custom responses based on unique customer requirements. At the same time, your customers can easily filter and find the exact information and documentation they are looking for in your trust center.

Automate your program even further, with 3 new integrations
This month, Vanta introduced three new integrations with Adaptive Security, Cloudback, and Veremark. Adaptive Security users can track compliance training completions in Vanta, centralizing visibility and evidence for audit. The Cloudback integration pulls user access data into Vanta, streamlining your regular user access reviews. Customers leveraging Veremark for their employee background checks can seamlessly sync this evidence into Vanta.
