Introducing: Vanta Workspaces‍

‍

We’re excited to announce that customers with multiple business units can now customize, manage, and automate compliance across all their business units within Vanta.

‍

Each business unit can have their own Workspace customized to meet their needs with specific frameworks, controls, evidence, integrated systems and more. At the same time, compliance work can be shared across Workspaces to eliminate duplicative work and save time and money.

‍

Improved navigation bar labels & groupings

‍

We’ve reorganized and improved the way our in-app navigation bar is named and formatted.

‍

The Monitors tab has been relabeled back to Tests, and your Checklists and Groups are now sub-pages underneath the People tab. Access and Access Reviews can now be found under the Access tab. All in all, we’ve reorganized our tabs so that related workflows are grouped together — enabling a more intuitive user experience.

Vanta’s ever-growing list of integrations means more flexibility when it comes to integrating the tools your team uses.

In May we released 15 new integrations, ranging from access-only integrations for Access Reviews customers, five additional HRIS integrations, a Zendesk task manager integration, and three more partner-built integrations through our Connectors API. Additional customization for controls

‍

Controls within Vanta are now more flexible than ever before.

‍

We recognize that every company is unique and so we’ve made various fields within Controls customizable to cater to your business’s unique needs. Fields like control names, IDs, categories, descriptions, and mapping to documents/tests are now easily customizable within the Vanta app. We’ve also added a changelog so that users now have a ledger of any edits that are made.

Improvements for employee security

We’ve introduced more ways to improve the security of your most valuable asset — your employees.

‍

Customers can now add custom employee offboarding tasks to checklists and preview those checklists before publishing — catering to any unique offboarding workflows your business has. Admins are also now able to edit the email address of manually-created Vanta users. For customers that use OneLogin as their IdP, we now support Groups in Vanta from OneLogin and automatically sync group membership based on changes in OneLogin.

We’ve rolled out new Security Awareness Training videos for HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, and CCPA.

In addition to the new general SAT video we rolled out in December, these new videos ensure that your employees learn about these frameworks, their security and privacy principles, and requirements — in a way that is directly applicable and memorable.
