Introducing Vanta’s Security and Privacy Training Library

In today’s world, it’s important for your employees to learn about security and privacy best practices not only for their day-to-day roles at your company, but also to help inform the myriad of security and privacy decisions they make in their personal lives every day.

Today we’re excited to introduce Vanta’s new security and privacy training library, including modules for Security Awareness (required for SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and more), HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and PCI DSS—all developed by our in-house team of security, privacy, and compliance experts to help ensure your employees learn about important and required principles for each framework. While Vanta has previously offered security and privacy training functionality in partnership with external providers, we’re thrilled to offer training materials that are now developed by our in-house experts.

Vanta’s new security and privacy training modules were developed to provide engaging, memorable, and relevant content for your employees. Combined with our established training management features in Vanta, our proprietary security and privacy training library allows you to automate training assignments, segment training for different groups, and equip your employees with up-to-date security and privacy knowledge—all directly in the Vanta platform.

Our motivation and principles

Your employees are a valuable resource—and it’s an important and large commitment to ask them to complete mandatory training of any type. At Vanta, we’ve defined three principles to inform our internal approach to learning about security and privacy, including the following:
