Private Integrations

‍

We’re excited to announce that customers can easily connect their in-house or third-party applications to Vanta’s Trust Management Platform.

‍

Through Private Integrations, in-house systems that need compliance controls can now be managed with the same level of automation as any of the 175+ third-party applications available in Vanta’s integration directory. This means that Vanta can now collect evidence from internal tools and omits the need for manual data uploads.

30 new integrations: Airtable, ServiceNow, Sumo Logic…

In July, we launched 30 new integrations, ranging from HRIS, Access, Task-Trackers, and Monitoring.

‍

Access Reviews customers now have an additional 19 systems for access-only integrations, including Airtable, WebEx, Checkr, and more. We’ve also added 9 more HRIS integrations and integrated ServiceNow as a two-way task tracker. We’ve improved our Sumo Logic integration so that it fetches monitoring resources and added a new test to verify at least one monitor is active. Additional customization for pre-built Vanta content

Vanta now allows more customization for pre-built content.

‍

Pre-built Vanta controls now have the flexibility as custom controls — allowing you to map or unmap custom controls to frameworks, including Custom Frameworks. Additionally, customers are now able to customize the names and descriptions of Vanta policies, while taking advantage of their mappings that come out-of-the-box. Last, document metadata such as names, descriptions, and recurrences are now fully customizable through the document’s detail page.

Universal search

‍

We’re excited to introduce universal search to the Vanta experience.

‍

Customers can now use Vanta’s universal search bar to find whatever they need, wherever they are — in Vanta. Universal search opens a window that leads you directly to Vanta’s navigation and help center, right in the Vanta interface. From there, users will be able to search through help articles by keyword or use the navigation to jump to pages instantly.

Leave status

‍

Customers can now designate when Vanta users are on leave.

‍

Vanta admins are now able to set or unset their Vanta users’ leave statuses — omitting them from workflows such as product tests and security tasks. When setting leave status, admins can also optionally specify a date in which the leave starts or ends — automating when tests and tasks should resume.

Improvements to custom inventory items and bulk adding

Customers now have additional functionality when it comes to creating and editing custom inventory items.

‍

We’ve added a form that improves the user experience of adding a new custom inventory item and now allow for bulk uploading. Additionally, users can also delete custom inventory items in bulk — streamlining the way you manage your custom inventory items in Vanta.
