How Riot integrates with Vanta to increase cybersecurity awareness

Many data breaches start with a compromised account from one of a company’s employees. Jérôme Berloty and Benjamin Netter decided to build a product based on that fact and launched Riot in 2020.
Based in Paris, France, Riot combines learning modules and phishing simulations to raise cyber awareness and solve compliance needs. The courses are chat-based, five minutes long, and immersive and interactive, making learning more entertaining.
Building a scalable growth strategy
The company’s growth has been largely organic, through good press visibility and employee’s personal networks. That approach, however, is not scalable over the long term. Riot needed a strategy to accelerate its growth.
Partnering with a leader to make clients’ lives easier
“We use Vanta at Riot in our SOC 2 compliance process,” said Jérôme Berloty, Cofounder & VP of Sales, and the two companies have many common clients.
Those companies were using Riot to get all of their employees involved in security awareness training and separately using Vanta to achieve and maintain security compliance. “The idea of integrating Riot with Vanta was, to us, a great added value for our product and a great benefit for our customers,” added Berloty, in addition to providing increased visibility to Vanta’s larger customer base.
Riot used Vanta’s Connectors API for the integration, which went smoothly. “The communication with Vanta’s team was extremely effective. Today we feel like we have started a strong and great partnership with the number one compliance platform,” said Berloty.
