At Vanta, we’ve been on a mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data from day one. We got our start building an automated compliance tool to help companies achieve SOC 2 compliance quickly and painlessly. Since then, we’ve added new capabilities to our leading trust management platform, including enhanced risk management and a purpose-built solution for access reviews, and announced the acquisition of Trustpage to help customers:

Today we’re excited to unveil our new brand identity, which reflects these deep capabilities and captures Vanta’s personality as a trusted security and compliance expert — with a wink.
We’re especially thrilled to share our new look as we cross an exciting milestone. We now have 5,000 customers around the world who trust Vanta to help their customers trust them. To celebrate, we’re also launching our customer community. The Vanta Community brings together a diverse group of Vanta users across industries to provide peer-to-peer support and learn security and compliance best practices from Vanta’s team of experts — and each other.
Designed with our customers at the center, our new brand identity was created in partnership with Moving Brands and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Here’s a look at what’s new.
Meet Ilma: Vanta’s new brand mascot

Llamas have always been a special part of Vanta’s brand. Often used as guard animals, llamas vigilantly protect livestock from harm and threats. They are also warm, approachable, and intelligent — qualities that reflect Vanta’s brand personality.
We set out to create an iconic brand mascot, and we couldn’t be happier with Ilma. Her name means “resolute protector” in German and she’ll be guarding Vanta's flock of 5,000 (and counting) customers as well as millions of their resources, from people to servers and devices.
We had fun creating a world for her to live in, juxtaposing her soft and expressive nature with an architectural illustration style. Starting today you’ll see Ilma across our marketing materials and in-product experience, continuously protecting her flock.
New wordmark and typography
Today you’ll also see a new wordmark and typography from Vanta.
First, our wordmark. We loved Ilma so much that we gave her a home right next to it. We also softened the wordmark and opened up space in the letters for better legibility and visual continuity.

At Vanta, we’re #teamserif, so we knew from the start that we would keep this element intact in our typography. We added two new fonts, Atak and Nib, which balance Vanta’s innovative, technology-driven approach to trust management with our old school compliance expertise and rigor.
Visual language
Taking cues from our brand mascot, we created a visual language that will stretch across our marketing and product. Our new cutouts, which reference Ilma’s fur, will be used to hold photography, screenshots, or simply provide a pop of color.

We also created two new sets of iconography — an expressive set and a functional set. Our expressive set is designed for communication purposes at a larger scale, like on our marketing website and collateral. Meanwhile, our functional, monolinear set is intended for use at a small scale. Each set of icons captures a bit of Ilma’s essence without being overt.

Vanta has been, and will always be, a vibrant purple company. As the anchor color in our palette, purple captures the intensity with which we take our security mission as well as the tranquility customers feel when using our products.
We’ve updated our purple to pop in digital environments and also added supporting colors. We worked to achieve WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance across our palette to ensure that Vanta is accessible for all.
