We’re excited to announce that nominations for the 2026 Vanta 25 to Trust Awards are officially open.

The Vanta 25 to Trust honors 25 standout individuals who are advancing trust, security, and compliance through leadership, innovation, and real-world impact. These are the practitioners pushing the industry forward and setting a higher bar for what trust looks like at every stage and scale.

The opening of nominations also kicks off our annual Customer Week at Vanta—a moment to bring our community together, spotlight customer impact, and celebrate the work happening across the trust ecosystem.

What you need to know about The Vanta 25 to Trust

The Vanta 25 to Trust celebrates individuals who are making measurable contributions to trust, security, and compliance. This year, we’ll celebrate five finalists driving measurable impact in each of the following categories:

  • Security culture: Leaders who embed security into how their teams work, driving quantifiable adoption and behavior change
  • AI innovation: Individuals leading the way for responsible AI deployment, with real governance, controls, and risk management practices
  • Operations excellence: Individuals who excel at scaling security or GRC programs with rigor, repeatability, and outcomes
  • Industry influence: Individuals who actively advance trust beyond their roles through community, influence, and knowledge sharing
  • Business impact: Leaders who translate security and compliance into real customer trust and tangible business impact

After our 25 finalists are honored, we’ll announce one overall winner in each category. We’ll celebrate those five winners at VantaCon later this year. 

Nominations are sourced both internally by Vanta teams and externally from the broader security and compliance community to ensure a diverse, high-impact group of candidates.

Beyond individual recognition, the Vanta 25 to Trust shines a light on the ideas and approaches shaping the future of trust. By connecting practitioners and leaders across the ecosystem, the program helps foster collaboration, learning, and progress industry-wide.

General timeline 

While exact dates will be shared later, here’s what to expect for this year’s Vanta 25 to Trust program: 

  • February 17: Nominations open, kicking off Customer Week at Vanta
  • Spring: Winner review, selection, and notification
  • Ongoing: We’ll recognize and celebrate the 25 finalists across Vanta channels and experiences
  • End of year: We’ll celebrate our five winners at VantaCon 2026

How to submit a nomination 

Nominations are officially open. You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or someone you admire in the trust, security, and compliance space. Nominees do not need to be Vanta customers.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Review the nomination form below
  2. Select a category and share more: Tell us how you or the person you’re nominating leads the way in advancing trust, security, or compliance with specific details
  3. Submit your nomination: Submit your form before the closing deadline

Customer Week is our chance to celebrate the people and teams building trust every day—and it comes at an exciting milestone.

Vanta now serves more than 15,000 customers around the world. Each one has pushed us to think differently about what trust needs to look like at different stages and different scales.

Setup access review procedures
  • Define a global access review procedure that stakeholders can follow, ensuring consistency and mitigation of human error in reviews
  • Set your access review frequency (monthly, quarterly, etc.) and working period/deadlines
Consolidate account access data from systems
  • Integrate systems using dozens of pre-built integrations, or “connectors”. System account and HRIS data is pulled into Vanta.
