This past month at Vanta we launched a new brand, 32 new integrations, support for multiple & distinct identity providers (IdPs) and much more to improve the Vanta experience:

Vanta Integrations

March was a big month for integrations — we launched 32 new integrations across access, version control systems (VCS), task trackers, and more!

Access integrations enable users of Vanta’s Access Reviews solution to monitor access and automate offboarding in even more tools. For VCS, task trackers, and documents, more integrations mean more flexibility when it comes to integrating the tools your team uses.

Support for multiple & distinct IdPs

Admins within Vanta can now set up and manage employee security for all business units - regardless of which IdPs they each use.

Admins will be able to manage employe security workflows for users from multiple IdPs, including employee onboarding, offboarding and ongoing tasks, employee group management, monitors, access, and access reviews.

Vendors page and statuses redesign

We’ve redesigned our Vendors page so that it matches the experience of the rest of the Vanta platform.

Users will now be able to more easily see Security review statuses and Data agreements on the main Vendors page. Within Vendor Details, we’ve redesigned the details pane and added “at-a-glance” info to tabs. For Security reviews, tabs now explain what documents are needed, and users can conduct multiple security reviews and document a sequence of findings.

JSON test results data

JSON test results data

Vanta can now display deeper test result data within the user interface as JSON. 

Customers that need more detail behind a failed test to remediate it can now view and export summary test data as JSON for the latest test run, in addition to the existing workflow of exporting as a CSV.

New improvements to Access Reviews

Vanta’s Access Reviews solution has three new improvements: Account Access Data APIs, Remediation Task Tracking, and System Reviewer Permissions.

Access Reviews customers that use any non-integrated systems can leverage the new Account Access Data APIs to upload account access data. Remediation Task Tracking allows System Reviewers to create two-way task tracking tickets for any flagged accounts, through Asana, Monday, and more. For system reviewer permissions, process owners can now assign any user as a System Reviewer, who will only see the access reviews and systems they have been assigned.

New improvements to Risk Management

New improvements to Risk Management

Vanta’s Risk Management solution has two new improvements: changes to the policy template, and the ability to categorize risks by Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA).

We’ve updated our included policy to match the rest of the Vanta experience, including adding more details within Risk Categories, updating color scales, changing titles of impact levels, and more. Customers will also be able to assign CIA categories for each risk, and filter by those categories.
