VantaCon 2023 Product Announcements

Last week, we hosted our second annual customer conference, VantaCon, which revolved around the theme of the future of trust in an AI world.

At VantaCon, we announced offerings that include advanced reporting and dashboards, additional integrations and customization, support for the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and new Vanta AI capabilities like policy generation and automatic mapping across risks, controls, tests, and frameworks.

We’ve also made two improvements to Vanta AI, including adding semantic search within Questionnaire Automation for more accurate answer generation and implementing AI to auto-generate control names, control domains, and IDs for custom controls.

Now in GA: Improved audit experience

Improved audit experience

We recently announced our Improved audit experience, a collection of new capabilities that improve the audit process for Vanta customers and their auditors.

The improved audit experience streamlines the end-to-end process of adding a new audit in Vanta, viewing audit progress, and, coming soon — collaborating with your auditor. Now, creating, editing, and assigning audits within Vanta is easier than ever before.

5 new integrations: Bringing us to over 300

Vanta now supports 300+ integrations

Last month, we released five new integrations, ranging from Access-only integrations to task tracking — bringing the total number of supported integrations to over 300! Read more about the announcement.

Access Reviews customers now have additional systems for access-only integrations, including Zero, HelloID, and Blinq. We’ve also added Freshservice as a task-tracking integration. For integration requests, whether you want to integrate with your in-house tools or an unsupported vendor, please fill out the integrations feedback form.

Now in Beta: Risk Management dashboard plus additional updates

Risk Management dashboard

Vanta’s Risk Management solution now offers a dashboard that lets you quickly get up to speed on risk management.

You can understand your company’s risk distribution with a risk heat map and identify areas that may need investment before they become critical with the Top Risk Categories graph. In addition, you can see the overall status of risk treatment, including unapproved risks by treatment type and overdue tasks, and view risk trends to understand how your company is progressing over time.

We’ve also added the ability to easily track changes to your Risk Management program over time by saving the risk scenario’s data, tasks, and controls. Additionally, we’ve improved the navigation bar's design and the guided tours within the module. The Snapshots drawer has also gone through UI improvements to make it easier to navigate.

Updates to Vendor Risk Management

Updated Vendor documents page

Vendor Risk Management is now more flexible than ever before.

Customers of Vendor Risk Management can now use and view XLSX files within the Document preview page. Additionally, we’ve created a dedicated Settings tab where users can easily access and manage their Security questionnaires and Risk Rubric — as well as configure the frequency of their security reviews. Private Links now allows for multiple questionnaires to be added, plus, the Vendor details page received a facelift!
