Introducing: Vanta AI

‍

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of Vanta AI, a new suite of tools leveraging the latest in AI and LLMs to accelerate compliance, efficiently assess vendor risk, and automate security questionnaire workflows.

‍

Featuring AI-powered vendor security reviews, generative questionnaire responses and intelligent control mapping, Vanta AI significantly reduces the manual, repetitive tasks hampering security teams, freeing them up to focus on their most strategic work.

Introducing: Role-based access control

‍

We’re excited to announce that Vanta’s role-based access control (RBAC) functionality has been significantly enhanced.

‍

Improved RBAC now allows customers to build an unlimited number of custom roles, each with their own granular view and edit permissions to all areas of the Vanta interface. This is in addition to two new pre-built roles within Vanta: View-Only Admin and Sales Admin for Trust Reports. We’ve also added a new Permission details page which gives Admins a bird’s-eye view of the different permission levels across pre-built and custom roles.

34 new integrations — 200+ integrations shipped this year!

In September, we released 34 new integrations — bringing the total number of integrations shipped in 2023 to 203!

‍

Access Reviews customers now have additional systems for access-only integrations, including Akamai, Envoy, and Duo. We’ve added ADP Workforce Now and ClayHR as HRIS integrations, Hook and Torii as Security Awareness Training integrations, and our Connectors API partner built a vulnerabilities integration to socket.dev. For integration requests, whether you want to integrate with your in-house tools or an unsupported vendor, please fill out the integrations feedback form.

Improvements to Documents: External sync and renewal

‍

Documents are now more flexible than ever before, with the ability to sync documents to external management systems and renew unchanged documents.

‍

Customers can now sync documents from systems such as Google Drive, Confluence, and Sharepoint, where they can view them directly within Vanta — allowing you to maintain your existing sources of truth. Additionally, documents that have not changed since the last recurrence can now be renewed with a single click in Vanta, instead of having to re-upload or link to the same document.

Policy Editor Commenting

‍

We’ve added additional flexibility to Policies within Vanta, with the ability to write, edit, and delete comments on any Policy document.

‍

Teams collaborating on Policies can now easily leave suggestions and feedback directly within the Policy document. Additionally, the ability to edit and delete comments gives collaborators full control over the Policy collaboration process.

JumpCloud IdP

‍

Vanta now supports JumpCloud as an identity provider (IdP).

‍

Customers who use JumpCloud will be able to import their employees and groups into Vanta, as well as use single sign-on to log into Vanta through JumpCloud. This is in addition to our integration with JumpCloud as a mobile device management (MDM) tool!
