Introducing AI Data Import for Access Reviews

Now with AI Data Import for Access Reviews, customers no longer need to manually upload this information into Vanta.

Seamlessly upload user access information from screenshots and PDFs 

AI Data Import brings the power of Vanta AI to Access Reviews, leveraging recent advances that have made it possible for AI models to reliably understand the contents of an image and extract information from it. With AI Data Import, all you have to do is upload an image or PDF file that contains access information for the system being reviewed. Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Select the system that needs to be reviewed

Within an active access review, navigate to the system to be reviewed. If the system can’t be connected, select the upload file option.

Step 2: Upload a file for AI-powered image parsing

Select the option to capture and convert using the image parser and upload a screenshot or PDF.

Step 3: Verify parsed data

You can review and finalize the extracted information to correct errors, if any. When you’re ready to proceed, click import to add this information to the access review.

That’s it! A task that would have taken you an hour — and manual data entry — to complete can now be performed in seconds using AI Data Import for Access Reviews.

Once the review is complete, Vanta will also upload all screenshots as proof for your auditor to confirm the user information matches the review.
